About Us
t only took 6 dedicated people to form Enterprise Clubs of Australia Pty Ltd.
In Early 1980 a group of Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce Members) of the time sat down and discussed how a Referral Group could be formed to promote each other's businesses outside of a normal Jaycee Meeting. The concept of the Enterprise Club was formed and it only took 6 committed people to invite 4 people each to get over 20 people to the inaugural breakfast Referral Group meeting.
That was 29 years ago last June and the rest, as they say, is history. Barry Rumens was one of those 6 Jaycees at the first meeting.
In the years since it's inception many Clubs have begun and faded away but the personal referral concept remains the core reason for Enterprise Clubs existence and nothing has changed that.
Whilst technology has advanced alot over the last 29 years nothing will replace one on one contact which makes our form of referral business just as effective today as it was in 1980.
Business is done person to person by building rapport and trust. Once that trust has been established it pays for itself over and over again.
